Tron Beer Pong Table Is Amazing.

I don't even like Beer pong (drinking doesn't require a game it requires a beer!) but this table is friggin awesome.  Anything Tron themed is also worthy of a jolly good nod.  This should be the new piece of furniture given out to all college students in order to make sure they get their proper schooling and education.

Fem Stormtrooper

It's not enough to call this cosplay but it is fun.

Hannibal Lecter Gets A TV Show!

So NBC has gone ahead and ordered 13 episodes for a television show based off the Hannibal books by Thomas Harris.  I already know I am in the minority when it comes to lack of fandom and blind love for Dr. Lecter, I might be the only person who even found Silence of the Lambs over rated,  however I still managed to watch all the movies that came out and convinced myself to read the first 3 books.   So now that the legend of Hannibal has been exhausted I'm failing to see how making a show based off this character is a good idea.   To me this feels like nothing more than an attempt to draw in Dexter fans thinking all America wants is another psychopath to watch in prime time.   The character differences between Dexter and Hannibal aside I still don't know how you bring a story like this to network television.  I highly doubt that a channel like NBC will be given the slack a channel like AMC got with The Walking Dead so it seems reasonable to assume the gore factor will be relatively minimal. But thats my nerd side bitching for the sake of bitching. My biggest gripe is why do we need more of this character? His story has been told, received the highest achievement possible in film and then allowed the Lecter name to be tarnished by sequel hell.   So now we green light a tv series, because we all love to find a horse thats dead and start to beat it in hopes that it will breath once again.   I can't see how this show works especially being on network television but it appears I'm going to get to have to suffer it regardless. Look forward to future rants of doubt and nerd rage.

Knock knock Bang bang

Gun handle door knobs, what could be more American than this?

Psylocke Cosplay

Look at that she's reading!

There's an app for that.

I read today that people who use the Android device take their phone in the bathroom significantly more than those who own any other type of mobile device.  Good to know that this is where Android decides to be king, by the crapper.

VW AT AT

So its a Hippie van with the capability to stomp and smash Hippies? All right I'm in.

The Warrior Review

The Warrior is the first movie of 2011 that I have watched that to me actually seems worthy of Oscar recognition.  Joel Edgerton and Tom Hardy star in a drama about the story of two MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) fighters going through a massive tournament.  Really this movie doesn't deliver much of a different experience from some of the great boxing movies we have seen over the years, but like the greats The Warrior is executed practically flawlessly.  Both Edgerton and Hardy's characters have some skeletons in their closet that are revealed through out the movie (I don't want to spoil anything so I won't go into those) but the movie does a really good job of making you unsure if both are characters that you love or characters that you love to dislike.  Both characters are developed, portrayed, and acted out extremely well, and both actors nailed the role.  The fights in the movie are really well done also, you will find yourself rooting during them (even though you probably will know the results since its a movie and all).  The only thing I wasn't thrilled with is that the ending came off as very predictable to me, not that it was bad, just saw it coming.  That doesn't take away from anything though.  I highly recommend this movie, especially if you like to have a film to root for during the Oscar show, The Warrior is hands down one of the best films of 2011.

Jabba the Cake!

Looks gross but I'd try this and I don't even like cake.

Wait, Microsoft Got It Right?

With the PSVita coming out there's a lot of talk about handheld gaming going around again, and rightfully so.  The Vita looks to be a strong system that might open a lot of doors to what can be done in the gaming industry.   Sadly there really isn't anything Sony will be able to pitch me to sway me into buying that system.  Why?  I like games and I like new shiny gadgets, so why not get this new toy?   The reason is the same as why I sold every handheld console I've ever had in the past, they're simply to big and expensive to take everywhere with me so really all I end up buying is the new PSPaperweight.   Enter the smartphone.  In terms of the big 3 gaming companies this is where Microsoft got it right,  surprisingly.  Let's integrate our online gaming community with practical mobile devices, smartphones, something that practically never leaves your side.   The only real problem is Microsoft has not convinced me to trust them enough to want one of their phones for 2 years in contract with whoever but thats a whole different story.   The other point that Sony is missing, at least in my opinion, is that I don't want to play ganes like Uncharted on the go, epic games are meant to be an experience, a fusion of interactive storytelling and cinematic events.   Mobile games are supposed to be simple and entertain me at my desk listening to people who don't know how to work their own tv.   In the end it's certainly cool to see technology evolving like this in front of our eyes; however I really think Sony needs to take a step back and reconsider what mobile gaming really is before trying to convince me that I need another $250 3g wifi enabled dust collector gathering dust in my home.

GoGo?

I don't knpw whats going on her, but she kinda looks like GoGO.
