My Little Pony!
Spiderman The Musical
Wow, go to about 2:40 in and you get to see the Green Goblin singing and whoo-boy is it a treat. A part of me wants to see this now just for the specticle, I'm sure its about as bad as a play can be but I bet it be good for a few cheap laughs.
Pretty bad when Sesame Street is taking shots at you...

Green Lantern Review
Green Lantern, just finished it and I am not impressed. The movie was boring and somehow made feel like the Green Lantern was a prick. The special effects were over done to the point where at a lot of moments I actually thought I was watching a cartoon, which would have been fine if this was an animated feature but as a live action movie it was just overdone. Reynolds is dry, annoying and just flat out bad in this move, which comes as no surprise he hasnt made anything I have liked yet so why start now? I can't go into how true this was to the comics that "inspired" this attempt at a movie, because I have never really read to many Lantern comics, but my guy tells me that nothing about this is true to what a Green Lantern fan boy would have wanted. Don't waste your money on this, I haven't watched Thor or X-Men yet but they couldn't possibly be any worse than this (and yeah I'm expecting those to be bad as well) but both are surely more deserving of your hard earned than this green glowing piece of ape shit that I just sat through.
Gears Of War 2: The Behind the Times Review
Released about 2 and a half years ago its fair to say that I am not very timely with this review, no Gears 2 is not really a current title, but when Gears of War 2 came out my xbox had been plagued with xbox herpes, commonly known as the red ring of death and I decided to throw a little "I'm done with games" hissy fit. So here we are 2 1/2 years after the games release months before 3 drops and I am just now playing 2 (thanks to my amazing woman who decided that I didn't have enough chainsaws in my day to day life.) Gears 2 was not as good as the first game in the franchise, bottom line it just didn't live up to it's predecessor. That's not saying this isn't a great game though. Gears 2 does a lot of things right, the majority of things really. The controls are tight as can be and rarely do you feel out of control of your character, your weapons all respond pretty well and is there anything more satisfying than chainsawing through some asshole and seeing blood splatter all over the screen? Although though its your typical "end of the world go kill whatever is standing" video game story its pretty well written and the graphic and audio in the game are both stellar. I guess my biggest knock on the game is that it wraps up to this huge build up and than blue balls you when it comes to a final showdown! Even with that Gears gave me a great gaming experience, revived my faith in the franchise and got me on the excitement train for the Gears 3 release this fall so Cliffy did everything as right as it had to be. I hope in 3 there is something that adds a little bit more to the game play, something original that doesn't make it feel like just another Gears of War game. Obviously we cant just that for a little bit yet but with all the buzz that Gears 3 is getting after E3 I will admit that I am starting to get my hopes up for this one.
